Elizabeth Loewy, MD is a Board Certified Allergist and Pediatrician.   Dr. Loewy graduated with honors from The Medical School at The State University of New York at Stony Brook. She was a Resident in Pediatrics at Mount Sinai Medical Center, NYC where she was chosen Chief Resident. Dr. Loewy remained at Mount Sinai to complete a prestigious Fellowship in Allergy and Immunology

After two years in a group practice Dr. Loewy opened her own office on the Upper West Side where she remains today. She is affiliated with The Mount Sinai Medical Center where she holds a voluntary physician appointment and helps train junior physicians.

Dr. Loewy manages a broad range of allergic issues in both children and adults.   She specializes in the management and diagnosis of food allergies including the interpretation of RAST testing.  She also specializes in the management of environmental allergies and asthma including the use of allergy immunotherapy (shots) in people of all ages.
